Covergirl Vitalist Healthy Elixir Foundation Review

I hadn't heard or seen any reviews or opinions on this foundation. I discovered over the weekend while grocery shopping and I decided to pick it up and film a first impression and review on it. I was a little nervous to test this foundation on such an important day. I had two social events to attend and knew I would be taking pictures and I needed my makeup to last all day and night.

My first event was a gender reveal party for my friend, which meant we'd be outside. They decided to get one of those golf balls that is filled with blue or pink dust once its hit (super cute idea!) so we were standing outside in the hot temps for a bit. Later that night, I had my best friend's birthday party that didn't really get going until around 9pm (usually when I'm winding down for the night), and we ended up in a club at 11:30pm. It was so bizarre. Ha! I haven't been to a club in... well I can't even remember the last time. Definitely since before I had my first daughter.  Anyway, needless to say my makeup was put to the test that day.

Overall, I think this is a great foundation. It is full coverage, and long wearing. It does give your skin a healthy glow. Its pretty thick and did feel heavy on my skin but I do think I applied more than I needed to. My feedback would be to apply one pump with a beauty blender, (I applied two) and be careful to not apply too much in areas of the face where you have fine lines or wrinkles. I noticed it settled in my forehead lines and smile lines.

I found the best price to this foundation here:

I am the shade "Buff Beige" for reference.
